Well here’s your chance!
Durham Region Roller Derby is holding an 11 week Fresh Meat Roller Derby Training Camp just for you!! We will teach you all of the basics you need to know to become a derby player.
All women 18+ are welcome to train as skaters and both men and women are welcome to train as referees.
Training/practices will take place at Coachlite Roller Gardens, 88 King Street West in Oshawa on Sundays from 7pm – 9pm beginning September 7, 2014
Cost is $150 and will include your first 3 months of insurance coverage. You can pay ahead of time through Brown Paper Tickets http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/754414 or in person at one of our Meat & Greet events before the Training Camp begins. Registration on or after September 7, 2014 will include a $10 surcharge.
The following Meat & Great dates are opportunities for you to meet our gear vendor Lucid Lou of Twelve Thirty-Four Skate Company and get the gear you need to play roller derby. It is mandatory for you to have gear including roller skates, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards and a helmet by week 2 at the very latest, ideally you will be ready to go week one.
